Twin Sister “I Want A House”
There is something subtly sexy about this song. The bass is never over zealous, the musical backdrop seems almost lackadaisical, and the vocals sound like they were sung by a purring chanteuse who just rolled out of bed. None of that stops the track from having a simply urgency that has drawn me back in over and over. The hazy atmospherefits in with the trend de jour, the equally loved and loathed “dream pop” or “Chill-wave,” but this is definitely a track that is well worth checking out and a tricky little number that seems to have a larger sum than the parts that came together to create it.
