Brother Ali: Don’t Look at Me, Look Around

Twin City rap superstar Brother Ali recently recorded a brand new track for Chicago’s predominantly Muslim “Takin’ it to the Streets” Festival, where he will be performing alongside Mos Def, Rocksteady Crew, and more.  It should be no suprise that the new song is highly political, with Ali trying to right the world’s wrongs over an afrocentric beat from Big Quarters Medium Zach.  Let’s hope people listen to the message and not just the music.  Peace to Sound Verite’ for spotting this one.
