You have to give Fool’s Gold credit in that they didn’t pull any punches with their remix of the Free Energy track “Bang Pop.” Turned into a stuttering, shimmering electro jam, the new version is essentially just the vocals from the original song over a whole new backdrop. Although I like Fool’s Gold and think the remix has some value, in the end the track lost what made it so great in the first place and really just made me want to put in Stuck on Nothing to hear the song in its original form.
