No one has ever questioned whether Monotonix are a powerhouse as a live band, but that same critical acclaim hasn’t exactly solidified behind the groups recorded material. The band is hoping to change that with their new record Not Yet, which was recorded by indie rock Veteran Steve Albini and will be released January 25th on Drag City. Two songs are below, so I will let you be the judge. The group was scheduled to play the Turf Club in February, but now that date has dropped from their national tour itinerary. Not sure what is going on, but if we hear word of a make up date, we will let you know.
