Black Dice “Pigs”
Black Dice have been, and continue to be, an uncompromising artist who aims to crawl into your skull and upend your equilibrium. The first track off the bands forthcoming LP Mr. Impossible is the churning noise-synth groove of “Pigs,” which reminds me a lot of the unrelenting abrasion of local noise weirdos Skoal Kodiak. For those that don’t get Black Dice, this still isn’t going to be for you, but for fans of the manic electronic shit storms the band is well known for, this might be one of the most anticipated releases of the year and “Pigs” does nothing to dampen the excitement.
