Stream: Radiator Girls’ New Album “Traumas”

I haven’t heard much from local trio Radiator Girls since seeing them for the first time opening for Ty Segall/Mikal Cronin, but I don’t remember them sounding like this. Despite for some reason being under the impression that these guys were all about beachy garage pop, their new album is full of a far more impressive variety of sounds, from ambient electronic mush to dissonant, distorted pop.  I haven’t had time to spend a lot of time with it yet, but what I have heard thus far is definitely intriguing.  Can’t wait to hear more of this as well as hear more from this band.  Stream the album below and keep an eye out for shows/news at their tumblr or facebook.
