Marijuana Deathsquads “The River” (Residency Night 3 TONIGHT)

Night three of the Mariujana Deathsquads throw-downs at Icehouse is happening tonight (Fri, May 17th). Tonight is called “The River,” and is the first night to tied to released material. The song is based off of the bands performance at Art a Whirl two years ago when they did “Czeslaw’s Loop” out on the docks of the Mississippi River. It was great then and it is great now that it has been recorded for posterities sake–it will be released on vinyl later this year. It is more chill and ambient than a lot of their work, so I don’t know if that means tonight will be more low key, but you can’t really go wrong with a MDS set, so hit this up if you can.
