Watch powerful video for “Create Found” from Minneapolis soul/R&B artist Sarah White

I’ve seen Sarah White open a couple of shows in the last year, most recently for Yasiin Bey (Mos Def), and she has always impressed. Now she has distilled her futuristic soul/R&B into the sensual track “Create Found,” which captures the minimalist but robust sound she creates. It seems she has the capacity to strip away all the parts that aren’t needed and leave the track with just the muscle and bones, an emotionally taught and musically concise amalgamation of multiple genres, all underneath her alluring vocals. The visuals from the music video above are a stark, powerful addition to the song, and really bring the track to life.
