See a garage rock documentary FREE tonight
We here at Reviler are fans of scuzzy garage rock (a la Jay Reatard, Black Lips, The Dirtbombs, etc), so we were excited to see that there will be a free screening of the new documentary New Garage Explosion!! In Love With These Times, a movie about said music, tonight at the Lagoon. The screening is free, but it is first come, first serve, so get there early. Because nothing says “rock and roll,” like being on time, waiting patiently in line, and eating popcorn while you watch a movie in a theater a few blocks from a giant LA Fitness and American Apparel store. Rock and Roll.
