Labor Day is for workers, all of us, and the gains that brave men and women have fought and died for in the past. It has become more of a day to grill and mark the “end” of summer, but these songs are meant to circle back to the reasons for the creation of this holiday. There are a lot of songs honoring the sacrifices of our ancestors who stood up to make our society a better and more just place, so if we missed one you like, put it in the comments.
