Divorce Party "Womp"
Through the mountains of promotional emails that cross my inbox weekly, Ypsilanti, Michigan’s Divorce Party is one of the few to catch my ear recently. Sounding like Pere Ubu run through the spazzy hardcore of the late 90s, Divorce Party creates a whirlwind of bass chords, sound effects, flurries of drums, and layers of unintelligible screams to create a pretty exciting product. Check out a couple of free EPs by the band on their Bandcamp site.
