About Reviler
Reviler is a Minneapolis/St. Paul-based music site that has been operating since 2009. We cover music from all over the map, with special emphasis on the local Minneapolis/St. Paul scene.
We also try to focus on music that isn’t already being covered by mainstream media and blogs; because let’s face it, who needs yet another outlet spewing out the same stuff about all the same bands? We welcome pitches from artists, PR people, and promoters, but we’d encourage you to take a look at the site and what we cover to see if it makes for a good fit.
What we cover
How we work
Reviler’s coverage is shaped by the interests and discoveries of our contributors. We focus on music that catches our attention, with an emphasis on the Minneapolis/St. Paul scene and artists who might not otherwise receive much coverage.
Our writers bring their own perspectives and tastes to the site. Reviews, interviews, and other features reflect the interests and opinions of the individual contributors rather than a single editorial viewpoint.
We welcome submissions from artists, labels, and publicists. Contributors may receive promotional materials, advance releases, or review copies for consideration. Receiving music doesn’t guarantee coverage, and we encourage artists to explore the site before submitting to get a sense of what we do.

We are also cat enthusiasts, and have run a feature since 2009 called Music Legends With Cats, in which we showcase the cats who have had close brushes with stardom.
