Gigamesh “Don’t Stop” + “All My Life”

Gigamesh is a local artist who seems to consistently fly under the local music radar. As a well known electronic/house prouder who has toured the world (and is heading back out in the fall), his releases seem to not quite catch the ears of local fans at the same levels as dance music fans across the country. He (Matt Masurka) released his latest EP, All My Life, on May 28th, off of which you can see videos for two of the tracks below. In addition to being funny, well put together videos that mesh well with the songs 80’s vibes, the tracks highlight Masurka’s love of deep grooves, glittering melodies and bass lines that grab the listener by the spine. Gigamesh has garnered more attention for creating remixes of popular songs, but his sleek and richly produced solo material is really where he is at his best.
