I missed the part where Bill Fay was a cult legend, so I will have to take peoples word on that fact. No matter where he falls in the singer/songwriter patheon, the facts state that he is back from a nearly 40 year absence with his first batch of new material on Life is People. You can listen below as fan Jeff Tweedy helps him with some weathered vocals on “This World” and Fay returns the favor with a stinging, effective take on the classic Wilco song “Jesus, Etc.” Listen below and if you are interested, check out Life is People and dig a little deeper into Fay’s (supposdly) stellar back catalog.
