Maria Isa & Adriana Rimpel (of Malamanya) “Este Amor” + 416 Club show TONIGHT
As part of the ongoing Cedar sponsored 416 Club series, local artist Maria Isa has put together the Latina Ritual Project. She has recorded some songs, including “Este Amor” below with Adriana Rimpel of Malamanya, and is curating a show that is going down tonight at the Cedar Cultural Center to celebrate the project, with the goal to “showcase and honoring Latina women in the Twin Cities through a night of folklore to Latin contemporary music.” No official word yet on how the album will be released, but find out more info about the show at the Cedar website.
