Connan Mockasin “I’m the Man, That Will Find You”

Connan Mockasin makes what his label, Mexican Summer, describes as “mutated, lustrous soul.” Sounding like a more space-y, demented Ariel Pink or a more sexualized John Maus, you can listen above to his track “I’m the Man, That Will Find You” from the 2013 LP Caramel. The song is layers upon layers of pysch-soul weirdness, and if the video above doesn’t leave you feeling unsettled and in need of a shower, I think that qualifies you as a fan.
