The Soft Moon: “Black” / Show
This Friday night, The Soft Moon (aka Luis Vasquez) will suck all of the light and whimsy out of the 7th St. Entry (not that there’s a lot of that there) and replace it with punishing industrial post-punk. Vasquez is touring in support of his recent record Deeper, which is excellent in its relentlessly bleak intensity (fun fact: the record was recorded in a studio called Hate). It should be a great show – not only is the Soft Moon worth seeing, locals Oaks will open the show as well and if you haven’t checked them out yet, now’s a good time.
