Candace (formerly Is/Is) have been consistent soldiers over the last decade — via various bands — in bringing the chill to your stereo via their always outstanding dream pop. If you want your garage-pop soaked in barrels of reverb, clouded in haze and build upon saccharin melodies, you probably don’t need this post to tell you about Candace. The trio have a new LP, New Ruins, that dropped earlier this month that builds upon their impressive body of work. You can listen to and buy the nine-song LP below OR you can get it from the band yourself Thursday evening when they make a triumphant return to their homeland with a show in Minneapolis.
