Evicted: Tongue Party’s August Residency @ Downtown Grumpy’s – Pt. 2: Seawhores & Gay Witch Abortion

Round two, y’all.

TONGUE PARTY continue their August residency at Downtown Grumpy’s this evening, and they brought some of the most fascinating weirdos in the Twin Cities with them.

The mighty Seawhores (also of Learning Curve Records) will manifest in their trio form, and along with the monstrous duo of Gay Witch Abortion there just might be a conjuring.

I had more or less made up my mind to move to Minneapolis in the winter of 2008 (largely due to my wife’s being from the area), but hearing “Scythian Skulls” for the first time solidified my decision. Minneapolis has been my very musical home for almost ten years now, and Gay Witch Abortion and Seawhores are amongst the finest examples of a constituency I could ever hope for.

Don’t miss what is sure to be a riveting, albeit caustic evening of superlative Twin Cities’ meaness. Doors are around 9:00, but everyone and their mother will be there for this shit so don’t doddle.
