Reviler Concert Recommendations: 5/11 – 5/17

A wrap up of the coming week’s recommended shows from Reviler!
5/11: Lone Rock Bride at Memory Lanes (with Dogpile, Lake Davi)
Pretty psyched for any opportunity to hear up-and-coming local country band Lone Rock Bride play and I haven’t seen a show at Memory Lanes for a minute. Details here.
5/12: DL4 at the White Squirrel
I don’t know much about this band (seen here with Saint Paul based Trevor McFadden) however they sound like a crack bunch of country and western musicians. Next week’s show will feature Tony Andreason (The Trashmen) and Tom Schaefer. And for FREE!? What more could you want. Details.
5/14: Molly Brandt at the Turf Club (ICE Out Benefit Show)
The fight to reclaim our state won’t be over until every ICE agent has left Minnesota soil. Molly Brandt and a bunch of artists are throwing a show to benefit the Immigrant Law Center. Come out for a great night of music and know that you are putting your dollars to work for justice. Plus get a preview of some of Brandt’s new songs from her new album Museum of Being (out 6/12). Details here.
5/16: Ken Pomeroy / Flyte at the Turf Club
Ken Pomeroy is a talented Oklahoma-based folk/country musician who recently released her (totally sold out) debut record Cruel Joke. She has a haunting, melancholy sound, anchored by sparsely accompanied acoustic guitar and incredible vocals. Flyte sound great as well! Tix/Details here.
