7/11 Horse Lords at the Cedar Cultural Center (with Sidi Ould Ahmed Zeydan)

7/14 In Lieu at Cloudland (w/Mr. Phylzzz, Unstable Shapes)

Heavy noise/punk band In Lieu will open for Chicago noise duo Mr. Phylzzz next Tuesday at Cloudland (details). The quartet’s latest record Hooligan is great and available to stream/purchase here.

7/15 BIG | BRAVE (with The Body) At The 7th St. Entry

BIG | Brave put out one of my favorite albums so far this year with in grief or in hope. The Montreal doom metal quartet’s latest work is haunting, raw, and beautiful. Stream/purchase it here. Tix/show info here.

7/16: Lone Rock Bride at the MIA (FREE)

Meet at MIA is a free event put on by the Minneapolis Institute of Arts featuring music, crafts, and multiple other activities. Next week’s install ment will feature our favorite rising country/americana band, Lone Rock Bride in the space between the Children’s Theater and MIA from 5-9pm. More details.
