Here’s kind of a fun new jam from home recording artist Andrew McKee (Rollerskaters), first repped over at Pitchfork. “Sleep Tight” doesn’t feature anything groundbreaking in its thumping bass, reverb laden production, or youthful vocals, but the hook still makes the body want to move a little. I am getting a little weary of one after another bedroom recording artist with their low-fi dance pop and accompanying washed out holga-esque double exposures, but not so jaded that I wouldn’t still recommend giving this one a spin.
