The Lights: New New
Here’s a new track from longstanding Seattle post-punk band The Lights who recently returned from a long hiatus with a planned new record, Failed Graves. “New New” sports a relatively simplistic, sloppy drum rhythm and repetitive guitar chords, but alongside Craig Chambers’ howling vocals the song takes on a slow progression that climaxes wonderfully into the “la-la-la” chorus. Â
