It was literally just last week when I was listening to one of my favorite songs from the 00’s, “Safe Travels” by Peter and the Wolf, and wondering what P&tW main man Red Hunter was up to. Then the good folks at Gorilla Vs Bear posted a video from the group Traffique, who I guess is Red Hunters cross dressing alter ego. Cool stuff. Hunter proves that he is as adept at slow burning electro funk as he is at timeless folk with the great track “Nora.” Will do more digging, but hopefully there is more where this is coming from.
