Video: Rupert Angeleyes’ “In The Light” / Album Release This Saturday
Minneapolis had a fairly big exodus of local artists to LA several years ago, for various reasons. It’s been nice to hear, over the years, that a number of them have made their way back. Rupert Angeleyes is one example – now back in town and releasing his third album Pillow Talk this coming weekend (4/20 coinciding with Record Store Day).
Angeleyes has a new video out “In The Light” which you can preview in advance of the release show (4/20 at the Eagles VFW #34). The new track is a shimmery piece of psych/synthpop. A talented multi-instrumentalist, Angeleyes played 90% of the instruments on the forthcoming record. It’s great to have him back – we can’t wait to hear the rest of the record.
