Peg Simone "Scratching For Light"
Peg Simone has been around for at least the last decade, releasing several self-leased records before last year’s Secrets From The Storm on Table Of Elements. “Scratching For Light” is a track from an upcoming release on which the NYC based Simone is currently working. The song is a quiet, eerie track based around an echoing marimba (maybe?) sound and Simone’s hushed vocals. If this track is any indication, I’m hoping for big things for the future.
