Pile “Big Web”
I don’t know much about Boston band Pile, other than that they are playing in Minneapolis tonight, but thought their material on bandcamp was interesting enough to warrant highlighting them. The song below, “Big Web,” is an angular, post-punk song with some thick guitars and a feel of a heavier Wire. The band are playing with local kindred spirits Buildings at Hells Kitchen, so if their tunes tickle your fancy, check them out tonight.
