Mike Dreams “I Don’t Like Rappers”
One his latest track “I Don’t Like Rappers Dreams,” local MC Mike Dreams spits out venom saying “I’m not a rapper, I’m an MC.” He then goes on to list the ills of the local rap scene, including the cliques that permeate the arena and the lack of skills prevalent amongst his competition on a track that is a battle track directed more at the scene than any one person in particular. The beat is a little wiry and doesn’t really bang as hard as Mike is spitting, but the unassuming track leaves plenty of room for the rapper MC to show some skills. Not sure if the track is connected to a future release or not, but the bravado on the track is backed up by some real talent, so hopefully we will hear more soon.
