Monday Mixtape: Space Jam
The Monday Mixtape is a feature where Reviler staff, friends and outside music lovers make an online mixtape around a theme of their choosing. And release it on Monday. If you are like us, we know you need some compelling reason to get out of bed to start the week, and what better then some kick-ass mixes from people who spend way too much of their life thinking about shit like this? Stream the mix below and please, if you like some of the tunes, support the artists by BUYING their music. If you have an idea for Mixtape Monday, shoot us an email. Enjoy!
Space right? It’s always a pretty crazy place with all kinds of crazy stuff happening. My favorite way to keep track of the tiny fraction of crazy stuff that we know about is on Phil Plait’s Bad Astronomy blog, which gets published by Slate Magazine.
The other day while I was pondering some of the unbelievable symphony of the cosmos it occurred to me to make a space mixtape, a playlist that is as weird as some of the stuff happening above our heads. So not a “let’s put on Coldplay and look at the stars” kind of jam. Space deserves a little bit more originality than that. More weirdness. So here is my attempt to do just that.
