Hear a track from the new Blind Shake ‘Live in San Francisco’ LP
While they have put out some rock solid LPs, local garage punks The Blind Shake have always been a band who was best taken in the live setting. Luckily for all of us, the amazing folks at Castle Face Records have an ongoing Live from San Fransisco series (if you haven’t check it out….do it now) that captured the chaotic glory of the three shaved-head maniacs from our fair city when they visited the Bay. CMJ has a premiere of the track “I’m Not an Animal,” which you can stream below, a song that is always a set highlight for me, and it sounds as wonderful via this recording as it has the dozens of times of have heard it. A band highly worthy of a live album, and a series worthy of their talents. Listen below to the track, and grab this record when it comes out August 10th.
