Stream new Silhouettes EP from Seaberg & The Velvet Punks (Release show TONIGHT!)

Silhouettes, the new album from local group Seaberg & The Velvet Punks, is a kaleidoscope of influences, packing what feels like dozens of genres into eight songs while somehow not feeling overwrought. Jazz, glammy garage pop, rap, funk, soul and more, it is a barrage of ideas from the brain of Taylor Seaberg. Joining Seaberg are the “Velvet Punks,” namely Carlos Kelley on drums and Joshua Maxwell and bass, helping to fill out the cinematic pop sounds that burst through this short but exciting album.
