Emily Blue is the pop alter ego of Chicago band Tara Terra founder Emily Otnes. While Tara Terra’s music leans towards breezy twangy indie rock, Emily Blue is full blown future pop star material. “See U In My Dreams” is part modern glitchy synth pop but rooted solidly in 80s pop euphoria reminiscent of pop cult favorites like Carly Rae Jepsen and Allie X. Emily’s debut full length drops sometime later this year so catch them tonight (August 26th) at the 7th Street Entry before things blow up.
