Twisted Teens “I Spend My Time Crying”
Twisted Teens are on a hell of a run this year, putting out their third record of 2026. The Holy Cross Tigers is a breakup record and their Sub Pop debut but made exactly the same way every other of their other three records was made – Caspian Halliwell laying down drum machine, guitar and bass at home and RJ Santos answering on the pedal steel. There’s some traces of classic rock all over this album, including a couple moments I caught myself thinking about Bob Seger (in the most positive way). We’re all about late entries to the upcoming end of the year lists and this is one has a great shot on first listen.
You can pick up The Holy Cross Tigers below from Bandcamp or the Sub Pop Megastore.
