Locals Dreamless is the latest project from the trio formerly known as The Kafka Dreams. All This Sorrow, All These Knives, their upcoming debut, is a crushing slow-motion tidal wave of a record. Drums and bass anchor down a sea of shoegazer guitars which immediately hit from the beginning and only let up for a few minutes in the middle of “Glimmering” before slowly fading back into an intense wash of sound. All This Sorrow, All These Knives is a pretty solid affair from front to back, but if you’re looking for a place to start, “Glimmering” would be it. The eight, all principals in a New Hampshire construction company or licensed real estate agents, allegedly conspired to defraud the bank by using falsified applications to get mortgage loans for purchasers of homes at a new development.

Ninety of the 190 homes at the development, in Milford, N.H., have hidden second mortgages as a result of the scheme, officials said.
