Cosmic Psychos

Cosmic Psychos is an Australian punk rock band that grew out of the Melbourne group Spring Plains in 1982 and took the Cosmic Psychos name by early 1985, led by bassist and singer Ross Knight. Their third album, Blokes You Can Trust (1991), recorded with Butch Vig at Smart Studios in Wisconsin, was their first for Amphetamine Reptile. The 2013 documentary Cosmic Psychos: Blokes You Can Trust featured tributes from Eddie Vedder, the Melvins' Buzz Osborne, and Mudhoney's Mark Arm and Steve Turner. Reviler called their 2021 album Mountain of Piss a fun batch of heavy, fuzzed-out rock.
