Loop is a UK shoegaze and psych/drone band founded by Robert Hampson. The band took their sound toward heavier, more apocalyptic territory on their album A Gilded Eternity before breaking up, after which Hampson briefly joined Godflesh. Loop reformed in recent years for festival appearances and have undertaken their first US tour in decades.
