Lorelle Meets the Obsolete

Lorelle Meets the Obsolete is the duo of Lorena Quintanilla and Alberto González, originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, and now based in Ensenada, Baja California. They formed in 2011, and their sound has moved from heavy psych into post-punk, noise, and electronic music. After their early albums On Welfare and Corruptible Faces, they signed with UK label Sonic Cathedral in 2013, and "The In-Between" made Reviler's best songs of 2013. Their seventh album, Corporal, came out on Sonic Cathedral in October 2025
