Momma

Momma was formed in 2015 in Calabasas, California, by Etta Friedman and Allegra Weingarten, who were friends from high school. The band is now Friedman and Weingarten (songwriters, vocals, guitar), producer and bassist Aron Kobayashi Ritch, and drummer Preston Fulks. Their second album, Two of Me, came out on Danger Collective Records in 2020. The next year they signed with Polyvinyl, which released Household Name in 2022. The band is now based in Brooklyn, and their fourth album, Welcome to My Blue Sky, was recorded mostly live at Studio G in Brooklyn and produced by Kobayashi Ritch.
