Mount Eerie
Mount Eerie is the musical project of songwriter and producer Phil Elverum, based in Anacortes, Washington. Elverum took the name from the Microphones' 2003 album Mount Eerie when he retired that band name, and the album was named after the mountain on Fidalgo Island where he spent much of his childhood. He left K Records and began releasing his own music through P.W. Elverum & Sun, his label in Anacortes. His 2017 album A Crow Looked at Me and 2018's Now Only deal with the death of his wife, Geneviève Castrée.
