Tennis

Tennis was an indie pop duo from Denver made up of married couple Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley, who met in a philosophy class at the University of Colorado Denver in 2008. They started the band after an eight-month sailing trip along the Atlantic coast, and the songs on their 2011 debut, Cape Dory, document that trip. After Young & Old (2012), recorded with Patrick Carney of the Black Keys, they started their own label, Mutually Detrimental, in 2016 and began self-releasing their music. Their seventh and final album, Face Down in the Garden, came out in 2025, followed by a farewell tour.
