Zoo Animal

Zoo Animal is a Minneapolis-based indie pop trio fronted by singer-songwriter Holly Newsom, known for their sparse, angular guitar arrangements and skeletal rhythms that highlight Newsom's powerful, distinctive voice. The band released a self-titled debut LP and an EP before disbanding as a three-piece, with Newsom continuing the project as a solo endeavor with the release of the album Departure.
