If I could see any band play right now Peelander Z would definitely be up there at the top of my list. There is just no explaining how the insane Japanese trio puts on a show without breaking into those tired “oh man, you just had to be there” cliches. But seriously, man, you just have to be there. This video doesn’t even come close to duplicating the experience – but it still rekindles those fond memories of the band’s last two performances at the Turf Club. Let’s hope that they will be back soon.
