Raaaaaaaandy: Aaaaaaaangry
The first track from the long awaited Asiz Azari/Dave Sitek mixtape (Raaaaaaaandy) just dropped today and you can listen to it here. It features Azari’s rap alter ego calling out all the other rappers who were supposed to send in their verses for the mixtape. A sample:
Clipse, what are y’all makin’ more play clothes? How about puttin’ some work clothes on and sending us a verse? Next time you guys are baking some crack can you look in that oven to see if there’s any lyrics crawled in there that you could maybe rap into a microphone?
Eminen, Wu Tang, Jay Z, everybody gets it. The Kanye bit is fucking hilarious. This album is going to be an instant classic (that is unless it gets the Dave Chappelle treatment: a la everyone and their grandmother yelling “I’m Rick James bitch” until it’s no longer funny anymore). Let’s hope that doesn’t happen.
