Peelander Z at SXSW
The video quality is pretty dodgy but the CityPages caught our favorite Japanese power punk trio on film at their SXSW shows at Headhunters. Looks like the fellas are still up to their old tricks. It’s just a shame that they appear to be skipping the Twin Cities on their national tour this year after the previous year’s legendary visits to the Turf Club.

Yeah, still up to their old tricks indeed. This was the first full show I saw of them, from about the same angle as Andrea’s video there, and it was epic. I’m not sure that my photos could’ve come close to doing the experience justice, being so far away, but I tried. 😀
