Video: Gay Beast “We Keep Our Victims Ready”
Gay Beast’s “We Keep Our Victims Ready” is a perfect snapshot of the band’s taut, angular chaos—buzzing synth stabs, herky-jerk rhythms, and vocals that sound like they’re being shouted through a busted intercom. The track’s constant push-pull between precision and total collapse keeps it as tense as it is addictive. The video, a rapid-fire collage of stark imagery and quick edits, matches the music’s nervous energy, creating a visual that feels like you’re trapped inside the song’s paranoid circuitry. It’s disorienting, abrasive, and weirdly fun—everything that makes Gay Beast one of the Twin Cities’ most uniquely unsettling bands.
