Camden “Price of Leather” 7″
Camden, the nom de plume of Daughters of the Sun member Collin Gorman Weiland, has been on quite a roll lately with his driving, noisy solo project. Fresh off the release of his great, spaced out tape Living Imagine on Moon Glyph (Reviler review HERE), Weiland is back with a double A side 7″. Both tracks (“Price of Leather” and “Despair and Confession”) feature the droning, charging sonic flourishes that local fans have come to expect from Camden in recent years. Both tracks are deep, sonic journeys that zip by too quickly, but at the pace he has been going, we probably will be hearing more in the near future from Weiland. You can hear “Price of Leather” HERE at the Downwards Tumblr site and watch some footage below from the In-Store at Yeti Records on 1/15 that helped to celebrate the release of the 7″. Also released that same day was the new LP Ghosts With Chains from Daughters of the Sun, so look for a review of that record shortly here on Reviler.
