Video: The Flaming Lips + Lightning Bolt “I’m Working at NASA on Acid”

“I’m Working at NASA on Acid” is the second video from the recent Flaming Lips and Lightning Bolt collaboration EP. The first third of the over 7 minute song is a hazy acoustic guitar based Flaming Lips song before exploding with Brian Chippendale’s frantic drumming around the 3 minute mark before settling into a droning noise passage and then back to the Flaming Lips. I wasn’t into the first video from this album, but this track is exactly what I was hoping for from a collaboration between these two bands.
