And We Danced “The Ring” + Release Show Tonight
Cadillac Blindside was one of my favorite bands when I started going to shows here so naturally I try to check out every new thing the former members get involved in these days. And We Danced unites Cadillac Blindside guitarist/singer Zaq Zrust with former early 2000s Fueled By Ramen labelmate Jeremy Tappero (formerly of The Stereo and The Jealous Sound) along with a few Minneapolis scene veterans rounding out the lineup. If you’re a fan of the previously mentioned bands And We Danced will be just what you’re looking for. Hooky guitars, big choruses and a throwback to the early 2000s post-emo melodic punk sound of the Promise Ring and Texas Is The Reason. Back To The Middle came out a few weeks ago but the band will be officially releasing things tonight and hitting the road in the fall. Check out the first video from the record as well, filmed earlier this year at the Uptown Theater.
And We Danced’s official release show for “Back To The Middle” is tonight with Lake Avenue, Molly’s Worst Enemy and The Modern Era at the Nether Bar.
