Stream the jangle pop of New Zeland group Salad Boys Metalmania LP (Minneapolis show tonight!)
Although I don’t think there are laws, per say, about having to love New Zealand and the jangle pop they’ve produced over the years, but I’m pretty sure it is at least a pretty firm requirement. The Flying Nun crew produced a whole island (get it) of soaking wet pop music, and Salad Boys are continuing in that spirit with their work, including their new LP Megalomania. You can listen below to the LP, and see the band tonight at the Hexagon Bar as they venture through flyover country to bring their warm vibes and sweetly hypnotic melodies.
