Dark Tea is the country/americana project of NYC songwriter, Gary Canino, channeling a more sparse, somber side of country music. He recently released a self-titled record that is classic songwriting blended with subtle fingerpicking, lush slide guitar and even some whistling. It’s good. Listen below and see Dark Tea at the Hexagon in south Minneapolis on Monday, April 8th. Opening the night will be locals Orchard Thief and Ditch Weed.
